Jessup, MD - TW Perry, the area’s largest independent building material supplier, is pleased to announce the relocation of the company’s Millshop to a more spacious facility, boasting 80,000 square feet, which is nearly double the size of their previous location. The new Millshop and warehouse include a production door shop, custom wood and PVC fabrication shop, a custom cabinet division, two pre-finishing lines for stain grade and paint grade finishing, and a moulding line. In addition, there is office space and a customized conference room to provide a comfortable area when meeting with customers. TW Perry's Custom Millshop designs and manufactures high quality millwork including but not limited to, custom entry systems, mouldings, mantels, cabinetry, paneling and wainscoting, libraries, entertainment centers and rooms, wine cellars and distinctive architectural features. If the customer can imagine it, TW Perry can build it. The Millshop’s production door shop offers various styles of interior solid core, particle core and hollow core doors. TW Perry’s Trustile Door line is one of the finest in the nation, and they are a national leader in Trustile custom and semicustom door production.
The new facility’s larger capacity will allow for increased inventory and more in-stock door profiles and sizes. To complement the facility’s growth, they have recently released an innovative in-house quoting program, specific to the Trustile and production door lines. The new quoting system decreases quoting lead times and increases accuracy. TW Perry also added a 9-head moulder with an automated priming and infrared drying line. This new machinery allows them to do all custom run mouldings in-house. Any moulding that could be imagined can be custom run in this facility.
The transition into the new facility only took 6 weeks to complete, led by TW Perry’s General Manager, Ben Messner, “I am honored to have worked with such a resilient team during this complex transition to our new facility.
